The story of TechPoint - a legacy of excellence
TechPoint’s journey began in 2002 when Dan and Vince Croft established Vanilla Electronics from a home office in Norwich. What started as a small venture has since evolved into a multi-site, multi-capability group.
"We have been dealing with Supply Chain Solutions for a number of years, as a regular supplier of various components where vendor and material management is key. Their expertise with vendor reduction programs have benefitted our company with better levels of service, delivery, quality and taking all soft costs into account, price. I have been very happy with their quick responses and professionalism and as a result we are moving forward at pace and entering phase 2 of 3 of the vendor reduction program. OTD measure of 100% and quality performance of also 100%. I would be very happy to recommend services to other divisions of Siemens."
Stuart Dale, Commodity Manager – Siemens Healthineers
Over the years, we've expanded through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Our first acquisition in early 2021 marked the beginning of an exciting chapter and since then we've welcomed four more businesses into our group, some with histories spanning nearly 50 years. In 2022 we rebranded and introduced the TechPoint name to the world, embodying our evolution into a forward-thinking, dynamic organisation.
"I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you to TechPoint Manufacturing Solutions and the wider Supply Chain Solutions team for the efforts to get our priority orders in for delivery. Communication and rapid problem solving when issues have arisen has been excellent"
Claire Moss, Supply Chain Lead @ Evolito
